Couples Counselling

I work with couples bringing a fresh mind and a fresh eye to their relationship.

Couples counselling can be challenging but it offers a safe, confidential space in which to discuss and explore what is happening in the relationship, to look at how and why communication has broken down and to examine unhelpful patterns of behaviour.
It is an opportunity to really face up to what is happening.

The role of the therapist is not to fix the relationship but to facilitate communication, understanding and insight to lay the ground for personal growth and to ensure people are in a more informed place to make healthier choices.

As your counselling sessions progress, you may find a way of overcoming your problems, or you may decide it is time to part ways. Either way, hopefully counselling will offer you the space to grow and to decide how you would both like the future to be.

As with one to one counselling, I will offer an initial (no obligation) meeting to discuss issues and goals and to check if we feel we can work together.

If we decide couples counselling will be helpful, weekly sessions will be arranged.

The sessions are 60 for 60 minutes.
